Legooooos

Hello all! Fun blog today. A while back, like months back I saw a super cheap lego table idea on Pintetest, I wanted to build it but didn't want to spend the money to get it!;) my friend had told me she purchased hers "ON SALE" for $100 and I thought she was joking! That's not what I wanted to spend at all!
So I posted a wanted add on our local FACEBOOK swap page in search of a particular size of table, as seen below its an ikea kids craft table and I got it for $5!!! No joke I couldn't believe it.
Next I needed the lego sheets- do you know how stupid expensive those are? Well they are $15 a piece at the lego store! Again not what I wanted to pay so I was searching and posting and Amazon had a very reasonable set of four for $25 which I was going to do when ready but hadn't yet.
Today at target I found them for $7.99 each.. I had to grab them. I know it's slight more than Amazon but cheaper than everywhere else and I didn't pay shipping or have to wait;) not my strongest attribute.
So here is my super duper cheap lego table! Fun for hours and crazy easy especially if you already have any of these items. (Ps: I used gorilla glue to place them forever on my table)
My daughter is a project junkie and the boys were busy building their new lego set they just purchased together, so here's Chaseygirl and our lego table-
Thanks pinterest, target, gorilla glue, and the nice lady on facebook.

God bless!

Taken for granted

 One week before the event:

Starting my day off today with a little (or a lot) of self pitty and woe is me's was not as fun as one might hope for. Sitting on my couch pouting and being consumed with all the things I felt like I couldn't accomplish or honestly get to in time. As my family enters its busiest season of the year when my husband coaches High School baseball and my older two children play on seperate teams I obviously can not be at all their games this year;( I also was consumed with the baby bump and Home REMODLE we will be tackling in the same season. WHO DOES THAT?! I guess we do- so now your feeling my slight self pitty? Well DONT!
As a church brat I quickly knew I was headed down a not so good thinking road and stopped short to take time to pray. Asking the Lord for direction and encouragement instead of what I was feeling. I walked away from those thoughts and forgot about my morning till later this afternoon when I came across these:

 Our miracle!
In a split second I was reminded of less than four months ago when we were rushed to the hospital to learn how drastically our lives were about to change.
Medecine and diet and scales and germs and on and on and on.... We listened...We prayed...We learned...And we started immediately doing what they told us to do.
15 lb swing from fluids and Medecine took my sons body for a trip we hope to never take again.
We were told he'd be sick again, we were told we would fight this for years. We were told he could die from the common cold and flue.
But we choose to stand on Gods promises, His words, and His faithfulness. We have been free of hospitals for almost four months- so far no relaps that we were told would happy often! We are working together as a family and Im FOREVER greatful to thenLord for His goodness and love for my son and my family.

Matt6:34 do not worry....

The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged." Duet 31:2

These days this is what my son looks like- prednisone cheeks.
We know this isn't forever and we will do what we need to do until that day even if it's tasteless! Lol... (Low sodium diet)
But Judah my son is here! He's alive, he's going to school, he's playing sports, he's doing his chores and playing with his siblings. All these things we took for granted and almost lost!  So I'm writing all this to say: don't let the paint color, or lack of food in the fridge, or gas bill get you down, don't let the light payment, sports schedule, or home remodel, distract you from what's most important- Gods word, time with Him and then time with your family. His direction and plans and not ours are what's important. But mostly it's Souls for the kingdom and our children knowing who their savior is!
We will move forward: we will continue to serve our Lord: we will seek His direction and not seek our own selfish plans. And we will seek the Lord all the days of our lives.

Hope you have a blessed day!

Gender reveal

I lost the battle! The battle of knowing gender or not! I was outnumbered and out emotioned (making up my own words, get used to it)
We started the day off with regular get ready for school activities and responsibilities, but by 11am we were picking up our Chasey girl (a promised ultrasound date) and dropping off the Buggy (aka malachi who can't sit that long) and we were headed to lunch!
Olive Garden is always Chasey and daddies first choose, those two are similar and very much joys of my life.

Next was......
The big reveal!!!!! An hour long ultrasound is fun and long hahahah it's an amazing feeling watching this baby that is inside of you, breathe and kick and punch and wiggle and imagine it's so much smaller than it looks and yet so Human and so Real. The baby wouldn't turn to its side for them to get the inside tummy pics they needed so at one point they had me doing jumping jacks, toe touches, and squats to get it to move.. I told them I don't know if this will work it's used to me running its moved by little.
Sure enough hop back on the table NOTHING.... It's still in the same spot mind you tucked little legs crossed feet means no gender either!
After about 45 min of pics and measurements SHE revealed herself...
Lack of boy parts people... Shock of my life #2....
My sweet Chasey started crying and gave me the biggest hug as I was laying on the table, saying "I prayed for this mom I prayed so hard and God answers my prayers first for the baby, then for a sister!" I of course was crying then too;
I wish I could have packaged that moment into a picture or video but my terrible memory is all we will have,it was perfect!
Baby Syphard #4 is not a boy as my husband and I were convinced, and we will have another princess roaming around our small castle. I know the Lord has bigger plans than we can even imagine therefor I know she belongs in our family. It was a shock (I don't know 50/50 seemed a long shot) but my world is so full right now with love and excitement and planning and feelings I haven't yet figured out;)
Hope you enjoyed my short story and I can't wait to share more with you. Be blessed and be a blessing know God is always working on our behalf and never leaves us wanting. He is a father and a giver and He knows the plans he has for us! And His thoughts are so much higher than ours- Jer 29:11

Power in the blood

I've been sitting on my thoughts and stories lately trying to decide if I had anything fun or interesting to write about and have decided nothing exciting has happend. Yes life has gone on, yes things have happened, decisions have been made and changed daily. Kids have done funny and interesting things and we have all continued down the road of life without major injury or change in the last few weeks, so I guess that is something to write about hahaha (moms you know what I mean)

Today is Sunday morning and I am enjoying worship with my church family and husband by my side. Our worship team starts singing "power in the blood" one of my absolute favorite songs but immediately I think one phrase.
"Just one drop of your blood Lord" just one drop of your blood could heal, it could fix it. One drop would be more than enough for anything anyone needed. Just one drop?! And yet he gave us His Whole Body. It might sound odd and maybe you've already gone down this road with the Lord, idk. Today for me I felt a differnt strength in what I was asking of the Lord.
I was immediately reminded of the women in Matthew 9:18-26 she said " if I could just touch his garment I shall be well" she knew in her knower, her spirit man, her inner hurting and longing self that all she needed was a touch from Him and it would change her whole life.
The bible says it many times, here's just a few that His blood covers a multitude of sins, His blood was shed for us
Matt 26:29, Eph 1:7
His blood is for us it's for YOU!

The bottom line is if your searching or waiting or longing for an answer or a healing or an act of some sort Im believing in my spirit this is for you as it is for me- Gods blood that was shed many a years ago is ENOUGH, was ENOUGH. One drop, one touch, one beliefe is all he's needing from you, so touch His garment today. Touch his face in worship today, believe and you shall be healed!!

Birthday girl

So here we are 8 yrs later celebrating our only daughters birthday. She had told me months ago she didn't want a party and she didn't want presents she just wanted her best friend over for the day.  So I took it upon myself to plan a fun day for the two of them!
We started of with a birthday card holding a wad of cash for her to spend for the day!

Then we got dressed, dropped off brothers and headed into town!
-Dutch Bros her very favorite coffee shop
- we then met up with aunt Nicole to get our shopping on! "Payless,Old Navy,"and another favorite little shop that gives delicious free samples the size of an actaul purchase.
-"The Harvest Company"
We then headed to the mall and stopped at
-Build a bear, Claires, and H&M

We were famished! So we headed out to her Favorite restraunt
- Olive Garden it was delicious and gave us the energy to keep going. Lol shopping with two 8 yr old girls who have money felt like a day of math class for me! "How much will I have left if I spend this much?" "how much is this?" "what's on sale mean?" Needless to say we made it out ALIVE and with Tons of good stuff. She is quite the little shopper, had her list, her ideas, and got it all!
We ended the walk out of the mall with a
-Jamba juice ( moms favorite) and Id say it was a win win for everyone.
Two pregnant moms and two 8yr olds, 7hrs of shopping and lots of cute clothes later she had a wonderful birthday!

- note the many wardrobe changes during the day?;)

Oh I almost forgot!!!! We found Chase a birthday twin at the mall. The wonderful and friendly store clerk at Forever 21 heard it was chases birthday and told us it was hers also, so we got a birthday twin picture with a stranger (Chase has never met a stranger she doesn't make friends with!)

Happy birthday my sweet, energetic, loving, free spirit. I love you!

Bumpie..ssss

Well it's been days and I've wanted to write but felt I didn't have much to share. However today marks wk13 in pregnancy #4 and I would love to dump my bumpies for you to see and share with me!
My mom recently moved to a different state and can't watch me grow as she has in the past so I thought this would be a fun way to do so. Also as I have kept up my running rutiene and healthy eating for ONE, not two and I feel a very fun adventure at each week, and want to remeber what I was able got do with #4 that I didn't with the first three. Anyway.... Here we go!
Week three: the day I took the test and was completely shocked and surprised and excited.

Take a breath

This week marks my 12wk of pregnancy with #4 which most of you know also marks the end of one trimester and the begining of a new one. Not just a new one though, let's be real.... The best one! At leat that's what "they" say. So far my gagging and complete nausea due to the pure thought of cooking a meal have subsided and I can almost sleep though the night with only one trip to the bathroom. WHY by the way does a baby the size of a bean-lime have the power to make you pee 100 times a day?! Ok anyway, malachi my youngest and only child not in school was with me for my doctors check ups today and I knew that he would get to hear the heart beat so I was excited, especially because as the baby of the family till now he has his moments when a baby isn't even a welcome thought. But as we layed there looking for the quick flutter flutter of the babies heart beat, my doctor couldn't find it.
Pause..... I was holding my breath.... I've done this enough times to know they find it fast and always do unless something is wrong, so I just layed there and prayed silently "lord this baby is fine, just hiding" so within maybe 1-2 min total she had an ultrasound machine and was plugging it in and telling me as calmly as possible that it will take a second to warm up but we will find his baby.
So release your breath with me... Baby was fine! Kicking and squirming and waving. Heart beat was normal and going strong. While the baby was on the screen my son was immediately overcome with excitement and asked the doctor if he could touch my stomache, of course she said "yes", so he was touching the baby talking to it and loving it! It was one of the coolest moments of my life and another perfect reminder of Gods creation and splendor
Ecl 11:5
And you knowest not what is the way of the wind, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child; even so you knowest not the work of God who  doeth all.
There are moments in our days, weeks, lives that take our breath away. Some good, some scary like today. But through it ALL God is still God. His word is still true. You might say this is easy for me to  say cause it turned out well for me, and I will say today yes it did. But there was an appointment once in my life when it didn't. I've been there, ive had to deal with that loss and I've felt that heartache  and I still choose to praise the Lord for His mercies endure forever.

Malachi and Judah say this is a "boy" chase and mom say this is a "girl" daddy doesn't care but we will all find out in roughly 4-6 weeks so stay tuned!! And GOD BLESS YOU!
